VERSA90 Alignment for Enhanced Aim

The new additions to the Ai-ONE putter lineup include four JAILBIRD MINI models. Two of them—the JAILBIRD MINI VERSA90 CH (crank hosel) and JAILBIRD MINI VERSA90 DB (double bend)—feature a new VERSA90 alignment. Unlike the traditional VERSA design, which uses white and navy stripes across the toe-to-heel direction, VERSA90 places bold white and navy stripes along the target line. Navy stripes sit on the toe and heel sides, with a wide white stripe in the center.

While the classic VERSA made it easier to check face squareness at address, VERSA90 helps golfers more accurately line up to the target and maintain alignment throughout the stroke.

Three Models with Classic VERSA Alignment

The remaining two new models—JAILBIRD MINI CH (crank hosel) and JAILBIRD MINI S (short slant)—feature the traditional VERSA alignment. These expand the existing JAILBIRD MINI lineup, which already included a double bend version, by adding models with different neck configurations.

AI-Designed Insert Reduces Ball Speed Loss

All Ai-ONE putters are equipped with an insert that combines a soft resin face with a complex aluminum back structure designed by AI. This design helps reduce the drop in ball speed on off-center strikes. Normally, a 1 cm miss can reduce ball speed by about 20% (leaving a 10m putt 2m short), but with the Ai-ONE insert, that drop is limited to around 5% (only 50cm short).

Grooves on the resin face provide a feel and sound that closely mimics Odyssey’s popular White Hot insert.

See the Technology Through a Clear Window

Each of the four new models features a clear polycarbonate window on the front sole, allowing a direct view of the intricately engineered aluminum ridges behind the insert. This unique design element highlights the AI-driven technology in a visually engaging way.

Newly developed STROKE LAB 90 shaft

Alongside the Ai-ONE putter, Odyssey has introduced a new version of its signature STROKE LAB shaft. While the previous version featured a steel–carbon hybrid design, feedback from tour professionals highlighted a preference for full steel—but without sacrificing the stability of STROKE LAB. The new STROKE LAB 90 shaft is made entirely of steel, weighs in the 90g range, and retains the same butt diameter as the original to reduce torque and minimize unnecessary shaft movement during the stroke. Additionally, a counterweight inside the grip end increases overall MOI during the stroke.
