A Unique Long-Neck Putter: The Giraffe Evolves with AI!

The GIRAFFE-BEAM putter, known for its long neck and eye-catching design, has now evolved into the Ai-ONE GIRAFFE-BEAM Putter through the integration of advanced AI technology.

As the name “GIRAFFE” suggests, this model once again features a crank hosel with an extended vertical section. While maintaining the same rigidity as the previous version, it achieves even greater weight reduction. The saved weight is redistributed to the toe and heel, enhancing stability—especially on off-center hits—thanks to the upgraded Ai-ONE insert, which replaces the former White Hot insert.

The lineup includes four head shapes: #2, DW, #7, and JAILBIRD MINI.

All models are equipped with the STROKE LAB 90 shaft for enhanced performance.

A Distinctive Long-Neck Design Inspired by the Giraffe

The Ai-ONE GIRAFFE-BEAM putter features a unique long crank hosel, true to its “GIRAFFE” name, extending the vertical section for a design that promotes a more face-balanced feel. Ideal for players who like blade putters but want help with straighter strokes, this structure aligns the shaft axis closer to the center of the face.

Improved Rigidity and Lightweight Neck

Compared to the previous model, the neck has been further optimized — it’s narrower yet retains high rigidity by incorporating a groove on one side. This design maintains structural strength while reducing weight, effectively minimizing face twisting on off-center hits. It’s also compatible with heavier mallet heads thanks to its balanced build.

5.2% Reduction in Face Rotation on Off-Center Hits

The weight savings from the redesigned neck are redistributed to the toe and heel, and together with the hollow-backed Ai-ONE insert, boost MOI (Moment of Inertia) significantly. According to Odyssey, this new configuration reduces face rotation by 5.2% on off-center impacts compared to the previous model.

46.7% Improvement in Ball Speed Retention

The Ai-ONE insert, replacing the former White Hot insert, combines a soft polymer front with a precision-designed aluminum backplate developed using AI. This structure minimizes ball speed drop on off-center hits—down from 20% to just around 5%, meaning a mis-hit that might fall 2 meters short now lands only 50 cm shy. Odyssey data shows a 46.7% improvement in ball speed consistency compared to the earlier GIRAFFE-BEAM model.

Design That Celebrates the Giraffe Theme

The putter body showcases a copper finish reminiscent of a giraffe’s color. Details include giraffe-pattern laser etching on the sole, a unique ODYSSEY logo grip, and a headcover embroidered with a giraffe motif. The sole also features adjustable weights (approx. 10g each at the toe and heel, 15g for #2).
