HONMA BERES 07 — distance made easy, built by hand in Sakata, Japan. BERES 07 is the game-improvement model of the line, and everything about the head is aimed at getting the ball up and out there with the least effort.
The maraging L-cup face is 20% larger in volume than the previous generation, so the hot area of the face stretches right out to the edges and the whole face rebounds rather than just the centre. Opening up the face also freed up discretionary weight, which HONMA moved to the rear of the sole in the toe and heel — the result is a higher moment of inertia and a lower, deeper centre of gravity that launches the ball high and holds its line. The body is soft carbon steel, forged.
The New ARMRQ 47 2Star★★ graphite shaft uses HONMA's Metal Hybrid Armor Technology: a metal hybrid sheet wrapped over the carbon in two directions to resist twisting, paired with TORAYCA® T1100G carbon. Swing speed and launch both go up without the shaft feeling unstable. Weight-flow designed, mid-low kick point. Grip is a GR HONMA RUBBER 41 GD with a backline.
